Being
an experienced and qualified Medical Herbalist/Nutritionist. Maxine Haigh-White practices from a home clinic based in
Balgowlah, Sydney, NSW and the Sydney Health & Fertility Centre in Manly on Victoria Avenue.
Utilising a variety of diagnostic
tools such as iridology, allergy testing, amino acid profiling and a full naturopathic analysis, combining dietary recommendations
and individual herbal prescription, she will overview general health and specific conditions.
Maxine teaches fun, easy to understand grassroots kitchen medicine at Mosman community college, which will be expanded to embrace the old fashioned
fun of making ginger beer and herbal wines.
Working alongside loveworks she can be found working
alongside Antonia Ravesi and Annie Connellan and other Loveworks volunteers, providing rest and recovery support at events such as the Sydney Big Day Out, Peats Ridge and other events, the natural pharmacy and general store, as well as helping out in the Pink Room which is an adjunct service offered alongside Unimed
and St John’s Ambulance.
Maxine originally studied with Nature Care College, moving on
to complete a post-graduate Diploma in Health Science (Herbal Medicine) under the guidance of Associate Professor Kerry Bone,
and Rob Santich, and will be hopefully! finishing her Masters by the end of the year at the University of New England. Maxine is a consultant with Cadence Health which has not only developed a Healthy Eating Instructors programme in schools, but runs a number of excellent
courses in sports and paediatric nutrition. Maxine is a member of the National Herbalists Association of Australian, The Australian Traditional Medicine Society and the Australian Natural Therapists Association
